Electron-counting frequency meter
The electron-counting frequency meter simply counts the number of pulses. The counted pulses are formed by the input circuits from a periodic signal of arbitrary shape. In this case, the counting time interval is set based on the instrument crystal oscillator. Thus, the electron-counting frequency meter is a comparator, the accuracy of which depends on the quality of the standard.
